Remembrance

Temple Isaiah offers several options for remembering someone who was dear to us or to one of our friends.

Prayer Book & Chumash

The name of a loved one and the donor can be inscribed in a prayer book for a donation of $45 or a Chumash for a donation of $60.

Tree of Life

If you look at the leaves on the Tree of Life in our lobby, you will notice anniversary wishes, congratulations on becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, congratulations on the birth of a child, messages of thanks, and memorials. Tree of Life leaves can be engraved for $118.

Memorial Board Plaques

The name of a loved one can be placed on our memorial board for a donation of $250. Please include the person’s name, full Hebrew name and date of death. Yahrzeit notification letters are sent and lights are lit each year and at our four Yizkor Services.

Pew Plaques

Names can be inscribed on a pew plaque for $500.

Beautification Fund

The purpose of the Beautification Fund is to generate money to renovate and beautify our synagogue. All monies will go into a fund dedicated to this purpose. Our Beautification Fund Plaques are on the wall in the lobby between the showcases. Plaques are available in the following categories: Contributor—$250 per year for three years; Sponsor—$500 per year for three years; Patron—$1,000 a year for three years; Benefactor—$2,400 a year for three years.

Yahrzeits
The Temple office will send you yearly Yahrzeit notices and have the name read at service. Please supply us with the name you want remembered, the date of death (including whether it occurred before or after sundown), and how that person is related to you.
Cemetery
Temple Isaiah has two sections in Washington Memorial Park in Coram that are available to congregants. Please contact the office for additional information.
